In May 2005, a prototype Veyron tested at a Volkswagen track near Wolfsburg, Germany recorded an electronically limited top speed of 400 km/h (249 mph). In October 2006, Car and Driver magazine's editor Csaba Csere test drove the final production version of the Veyron for the November 2006 issue. This test, at Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessien test track, reached a top speed of 407.5 km/h (253.2 mph).

Volvo Car Corporation proudly presented the Volvo S80L at the 6th Guangzhou Motor Show in south China. The S80L, a long wheelbase version of the popular S80 sedan, has been locally tailored and specifically designed for the market in China. Furthermore, the Volvo S80L will be locally produced in China. The new design was unveiled by Dr. Alexander Klose, CEO of Volvo Car China, and marks the acceleration of its localization plan.

Commonly referred to as "The world’s greatest unknown sports car", this great little roadster is a product of Brazil, manufactured in the 1960's. The cars utilized Volkswagen components and were assembled as turn key sports cars in a small manufacturing facility in Brazil.

The first automobile ever produced was the Benz Patent Motorwagen, built in 1885 and unveiled in 1886 by Karl Benz. Unique and consequently the fastest, it established a record speed of 16 km/h (10 mph). More than a century later, in September 2007, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT registered the latest record, for a production car, of 412 km/h (256.18 mph).

It’s raw power is supplied from a 7 litre V8 engine with both a supercharger and a turbo. The Zenvo ST1 develops 1104 BHP of power which is controlled at the flick of a switch. Producing a massive 1.430 NM of torque which is put to ground via a 6 speed gearbox, variable suspension and custom wheels. Zenvo goes 0 to 100 in an impressive 3 seconds.

Karmann Ghia's great looks made for a fairly good selling car, totalling over 10,000 the first year. The Karmann Ghia was last produced in 1974 to make way for the new Volkswagen Scirocco. Only 365,912 coupes and 79,325 convertibles were produced which make the Karmann Ghia a fairly rare car considering it was produced for nearly 20 years.

Revealed in late 2007, the 2009 GT-R marks the revival of an iconic nameplate for Nissan. The car is powered by a 3.8L twin-turbo V6, good for 480 horsepower and 434 ft-lb of torque. The only transmission that will be available in the GT-R is a GR6 dual-clutch six-speed. The GT-R's powertrain is reportedly good for a zero to 60 time of 3.5 seconds, a quarter mile time of only 11.7 seconds and a top speed of 192 mph.

The Porsche 968 Convertible is one of five 968s produced from 1992 to 1995. They include the 968 Coupe, the 968 Sport - introduced in 1994, the 968 Club Sport - introduced in 1993, the 968 Turbo S - introduced in 1993, and of course, the 968 Convertible.

In late 1954 it became shockingly evident that the recovering population was ready for more refined weatherproof vehicles, and the entire motorcycle industry was in a tailspin.

The mid-mounted 5.2L V12 is the focus of the update. The new engine features FSI direct-injection technology, a 12.5:1 compression ratio and develops 552hp and 398lb-ft of torque, 32hp and 23lb-ft more than the current 5.0L mill.

The Roadster version of the Murciélago will offer an uprated 6.5 litre V12 engine that produces 650 hp (478 kW) along with permanent four-wheel drive: hence the model’s LP 650-4 moniker. With 660 Nm of torque, top performance is at 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 3.4 seconds. The top speed is around 330 Km/h (205mph).

The "RK Coupe" is based on the current Cayman S chassis from Porsche, and like the RK Spyder is built by the Italian Coach Builder "Studiotorino" owned by Alfredo & Maria Paola Stola. The "RK Coupe" will be limited to 49 vehicles and will also be available to the US market.

Simbol Design designed the Lavazza GTX supercar using their 30 year road and racing automotive experience. On the road since May of 2006, and after about 30.000 kms of tests, Simbol reached speeds of about 320 kms/h with excellent stability and braking in every condition. This result, combined with the overwhelming interest achieved throughout the world, has led to development of the GTX with modified design and improved performance.

After holding the “World’s Fastest Production Car” for the past year, the Shelby SuperCars’ Ultimate Aero is receiving several refinements for the 2009 model year. The SSC engineering team equipped the 2009 Ultimate Aero with a 15% increase in horsepower, a revamped front fascia design, and an array of important interior upgrades. The most substantial change is an SSC‐designed, 1‐piece billet aluminum engine block. A milestone for the limited‐production automobile manufacturer, the new block improves structural integrity and oiling capabilities allowing SSC to boost the power output to 1287 horsepower while improving durability.
